Out of SARR activities, he is also co-founder of Soramitsu, one of the leading blockchain company in the world and creates Hyperledger Iroha.<\/p>\n

Ikkei established Hokkaido VC in 2000, the first regional and independent VC in Japan. Since then, he has been involved in more than 50 start-ups, and is considered as one of the pioneers in incubation of university spin-offs.
\nIkkei supports Technology Commercialization Program of NEDO, the Japan\u2019s largest funding organization, also runs startup accelerator \u201ckizki\u201d at Kyoto and is a member of National Research and Development Agency Council of Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology\uff08MEXT\uff09. He is also a Visiting Professor at Kobe University.<\/p>\n
