Speakers at the event include Minister Taro Kono, Ambassador Shinsuke Sugiyama, Ambassador Kanji Yamanouchi, Consul General Robert Koepcke and we will have a live panel on the future of science and technology with top global leaders in AI, machine learning, neuroscience, and biology including Dr. Andrew Blake, Dr. Kenji Doya, Dr. Peter Gruss, Mr. James Higa, Dr. Sachiko Kuno, Dr. Carla Shatz, and Ms. Amy Webb. They will offer important insights into how scientific and technological innovations will impact our lives, work, and society via a discussion moderated by Dr. Nancy Snow. A VIP reception allowing you to speak directly in small groups with these individuals will also be held, and the event will feature a performance from OIST Foundation Music Ambassador, violinist Eiko Kano (and pianist Karén Hakobyan) as well as a special sanshin performance.
