Seiichi Tanida

Advisor of Advanced Science, Technology & Management Research Institute of KYOTO (ASTEM).

After retiring Takeda Pharmaceutical Industry in 2006, he engaged in industry-academic collaboration support projects in the life science field at ASTEM. Besides, he served as program officer and evaluation committee member of industry-academia collaboration programs in the field of medicine of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). Since the establishment of the Japan Agency for Medical Research and Development (AMED) in 2015, he has also served as program officer of open innovation program that aims to develop new drugs from drug discovery seeds of academia origin.
