Keiko Koda

Born in Osaka. Graduated from Kansai Gaidai University after studying abroad in the United States. Worked as a staff member in the secretary’s office and international cooperation office at a special corporation, the Environmental Agency of Japan; worked at NIFTY Corporation, a major Internet service provider, as the main person in charge of overseas new business development and company listing; and worked at ngi group, a venture investment company, as the head of public relations and investor relations office. After that, founded AsMama Inc. in November 2009, and became President and Representative Director (current position). Using both analog and digital technologies, the company operates a nationwide sustainable community building business in which childcare and daily life are shared in each local region. While recruiting and training local community members and managing 2,000 exchange events a year, developed in-house applications (“Childcare Share,” a mutual assistance service for transporting and caring for children between acquaintances; “My Commu,” a mutual assistance service for living and raising children in each community; and “LocaPi,” an application for lending and borrowing personal items by hand delivery). Received numerous domestic and international awards and media coverage. Serves as a board member of the Sharing Economy Association, and also serves as an advisor, mentor to many others.
