Entered Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. In 1978 (Currently Fujifilm Corporation) and was assigned to work in R&D in charge of developing and commercialization of photo processing systems. In 2003, led the establishment of semiconductor business and assumed the position of General Manager hereof and became Corporate Officer in 2011. The following year, in 2012, assumed the position of Director and led the establishment of healthcare related businesses. After becoming Director and Senior Vice President in 2016 and Director and Executive Vice President in 2019, was promoted to Senior Executive Vice President in 2020 and as the General Manager the Life Sciences Strategy Headquarter led the four related business divisions.
